I live in San Diego, California and snow is only something we dream of. No white Christmas here, but there are local mountains we can drive to enjoy skiing and sledding. As a teacher we have a “Fun in the Snow” theme week (not sure why we do this!) and find ways in incorporate everything SNOW for the kids. This simple to make snow was not only easy and fun, but only $3 dollars to make. The kids had fun making snow balls and playing with our plastic polar animals. It was a little messy, but it was great clean-up for the kids with just an easy hand wash. I did notice that when cleaning the table, the baking soda gave it a new shine – BONUS!
What you will Need:
2 boxes of baking soda
1 bottle white hair conditioner (I used Suave for $1 dollar)
Large bowl and spoon
How to make:
Add 2 boxes of baking soda in a large bowl.
Add 3/4 cup of hair conditioner in middle of baking soda and stir well.
It should be most and easy to form balls. If not, add a little more conditioner.
Have FUN!! Store in ziploc bag or airtight container for future use.
